Strawberry season came a little late this year (along with the perfect strawberry picking weather), but we finally made it out to the fields this week for our favorite Hood berries. Our picking adventure set off what became known as The Week of Strawberries.
There was strawberry-rhubarb jam.
Spinach salad with strawberries and a strawberry-balsamic reduction.
And finally, when there were just a few sole berries left tumbling around in the box, individual strawberry-rhubarb crisps. I think we’ll go back and pick some more. Happy summer everyone.
