I’m packing for a trip. Maybe you can guess where I’m going? Big hint: it’s 3191 miles away.


I quite like to pack. There’s an economy to my wardrobe that I wish I could maintain at home. When I pack, it seems as if every item serves just the right purpose. No excess.

Then you get there and you have all the wrong things for the occasion or the weather. Or, if you’re me, you spill coffee all over yourself or tear a hole in your stockings or something.

But that’s okay. It’s all about the expectations and possibilities when you’re packing.
