We’ve just returned from a visit with family in North Carolina, and I thought I’d share a few postcards from our trip. It really felt like Southern summer there—hot, humid and buggy—but we loved floating around in the warm ocean all day long.
We tossed bread to the seagulls from the back of the ferry.
Blew bubbles and drank cocktails on the deck to the sound of cicadas.
Got messy with a plate of peel n’ eat shrimp and crab cakes at the dock.
And fulfilled a promise to visit the arcade on the boardwalk.
